Watersports

In addition to our superb accommodation you will also find some fantastic facilities on site for your use throughout your stay. Once you arrive at loch Insh there’s so much to do you wont want to leave!

Use of all the Watersports kit in the summer and the Dry Ski Slope in the winter between 8.30-10am and 4-5.30pm (excluding equipment).

In the main lodge but for use by all staying guests whether in chalets or the main lodge are the following:

  • Table tennis
  • Washing and drying facilities (coin operated)
  • Drying room for very wet gear ie. wetsuits waterproofs etc.
  • Pay phones 
  • Sauna (coin operated)
  • Mini Gym with static weight machines.
  • Outdoor drying lines beside main lodge.
  • Mountain Bike parking with option to store bikes inside (locked)

Also available are:

  • Woodland walks (ask for a map of our trails that leave from the car park at the beach)
  • Board walk suitable for disabled users (summer only)
  • Stocked lochan for fishing practice
  • Three play areas including zip wires, swings, slides, roundabout, bridges and forts.
  • Ball game areas for basket ball, football and volleyball.
  • Picnic areas all around the site and on the shore line.
  • BBQ areas outside each chalet and down next to the ball games area.
  • Dry slope
  • Archery range
  • ½ mile of beach

Down at the Loch side

  • Restaurant open daily
  • Quarter deck bar open when the Restaurant is open

Hire department available all year round for:

  • Mountain bikes
  • Skiis, Snowboards, and sledges
  • Archery
  • Orienteering
  • Problem solving

(all with or without instruction. )

During the summer the following are available:

Free use of the Watersports equipment if you stay two nights or more in any accommodation option B+B, B&B + packed lunch, Chalets or Apartments.

Activities to do on site which are free between the hours of 8.30am-10.00am and 4.00-5.30pm between April and October (min two night stay.)

  • Pick up and drop off to local airport, bus, train.
  • Assistance with car hire, flights and other travel arrangements
  • Assistance with organising activities that we don’t do. In the area quad biking ,shooting etc… we have lots of local contacts just ask our advice.
  • Identifying and organising local excursions for you or your group

The following services are extra and can be paid for if required
