Snowboarding

Loch Insh ski hire is open daily throughout the winter from 8 am to 5 pm.
We are ideally situated 6 miles south of Aviemore by loch Insh near Kincraig. You can drive up and stop in for breakfast and ski hire in a one stop shop in the peace and quiet before heading up the hill and skipping all the queue's, ready to hit the slopes before 10. Definitely the hassle free way to hit the slopes for a day from the south.
So hire your skis from us, knowing that if the hill is ever closed or storm bound you have a dry ski slope here at the loch at your disposal, guaranteeing you get a slide.
We offer lessons and courses on cairngorm weather permitting and everyday on our dry slope, great for a taster session to get the basics.
Our restaurant is on site and open every day. Non skiers can look on from the comfort of the bar overlooking the dry ski slope.
For days when skiing is not possible, or if you fancy a day away from the slopes, Lochinsh still offers a great range of activities throughout the winter months. These include archery lessons and bike hire, please call ahead to book any instruction. Or you can just turn up and hire on the day for the dry slope and the mountain bikes. Also not to be missed is our interpretive trail along the lochside, and of course the play parks which are open to all.
