Skiing

Overview

Loch Insh Ski School has over 45 years experience teaching in Highland resorts.
Skiing is a great foundation for kids to learn 'you get back what you put in.'

Older kids take to skiing very quickly and usually get the bug after just one hour.

Our dry slope is the best place to learn the basics away from the crowds of people up Cairngorm.

Ski hire is open Daily 9:00 - 5:00

Private lessons

We recomend everyone has thier first slide on our dry slope, as its far easier to learn the basics on the grippier surface.
One hour's the perfect duration for a first session to see if you like it and by the end you should be able to descend our wee slope in some form of control.
After a second hour you'll have mastered turning on the dry slope and you'll be ready for the challenges real snow offers.
We only do one and 2 hour private lessons at our dry slope.
Private Mountain guides can be hired for the day
Call to find out about availability.

Courses

The best way to improve your skiing is to book on one of our 2 day ski courses.
We offer courses throughout the winter from weekend breaks to beginner and intermediate weeks.
At Loch Insh you are booking a course which guarantees you the best conditions on the day as we are not tied to working on one resort and we go wherever the best conditions are.
