Event Title: Cairngorm Model Flying Club: Annual Splash-In
Join the Cairngorm Model Flying Club for a weekend of high-flying fun at their Annual Splash-In, hosted at the Loch Insh Outdoor Centre on September 13th and 14th, 2025.
The shores of Loch Insh provide a stunning setting as they transform into a runway for an impressive collection of model seaplanes and floatplanes. This friendly event is perfect for both seasoned hobbyists and families looking for a memorable day out.
You’ll get to see the pilots’ skill firsthand as they perform precision take-offs and landings directly on the loch. It’s a truly unique spectacle for all to enjoy.
Entry is free and everyone is welcome. Our on-site restaurant and bar will be serving a full menu all weekend. Plus, if you’d like to get out on the water yourself, our activities department will be open for hires and lessons.
