We have recently refurbished our slope with high-performance Pro Slope matting, offering a smooth, consistent surface for year-round skiing and snowboarding right here in the heart of the Cairngorms. Located right onsite by the water, our slope delivers incredible views across the Loch while you ride.
Whether you’re learning the basics before a winter holiday or keeping your “ski legs” fresh through the summer, our facility provides a high-quality experience for all abilities. Beyond our year-round dry slope coaching near Aviemore and Kincraig, we also offer specialized lessons and courses at local ski resorts, including Cairngorm Mountain and The Lecht 2090.
As one of the most accessible ski schools in Scotland, we provide a complete pathway from dry slope confidence to full mountain adventures. With private lessons, group taster sessions, and tailored courses for adults, kids, and toddlers, our qualified instructors use the latest coaching techniques to help every age group progress quickly, taking you from your very first slide all the way to confident parallel turns. We can also accommodate schools, military groups, businesses, and larger parties looking for tailored group sessions.

Group Taster Lessons
The perfect “no-pressure” 90 minute introduction with other first timers. Our instructors will get you confident in the basics of getting going, stopping in control and an introduction to turning.
All ages from 8 years old can take part.
Mini Ski Our 60 minute Mini Ski Lessons are all about building confidence and having fun on the slopes. Designed specifically for little adventurers, these fast-paced, playful sessions focus on teaching balance, coordination, and the basics of sliding through interactive games and activities. Led by our patient, qualified instructors at our dry ski slope facility near Aviemore and Kincraig, your child will learn how to make pizza slices to stop and french fries to go, all while staying fully engaged. One hour is the perfect sweet spot, giving young children plenty of time to learn new skills and experience the thrill of mini skiing in Scotland without getting too tired.

SuperStart Ski Courses. Running in weekly blocks at our dry ski slope facility near Aviemore and Kincraig, these structured lessons are designed to build progressive skills, solid technique, and lasting mountain confidence over four continuous weeks.
Led by our qualified ski instructors, each session offers a fun, supportive group environment where you can master the fundamentals, practice control, and refine your turns step by step. Whether you are preparing for an upcoming holiday or gearing up for the winter season at Cairngorm Mountain and The Lecht 2090, our Superstart course is the ultimate way to fast-track your progress on the slopes.

2-Day Learn to Ski Mountain Weekend
We believe our Scottish snowsports offering is the fastest, most effective way to learn, giving you a full weekend packed with action, rapid progress, and peak fun on the slopes.
Our weekend courses kick off on Friday evening when you arrive, starting with an hour of targeted coaching under the floodlights on our high-performance Pro Slope dry ski slope near Aviemore and Kincraig.
Mastering the basics of sidestepping and stopping the night before gives you a massive head start on the snow the following morning, fast-tracking your learning so you spend less time waiting in groups and more time riding the tow.
Loch Insh offers unique flexibility, allowing us to select between local ski resorts based on the daily weather forecast.
The Lecht 2090 is just an hour away and provides a safe, progressive environment for beginner and intermediate skiers, while Cairngorm Mountain offers fantastic beginner terrain on clear, light-wind days.
If adverse weather closes both mountain resorts, we have our brand-new 60m Pro Slope dry slope right onsite meaning the lessons can still go ahead.

Offsite Ski Hire for Local Mountain Resorts Heading up the mountain? Skip the long resort queues with our hassle-free offsite ski hire near Aviemore. We offer high-quality ski equipment hire for Cairngorm Mountain and The Lecht 2090, available for single or multi-day rental. Every ski hire package includes premium skis, boots, poles, and a helmet. You can collect your gear on the morning of your trip or get ahead of the queues by picking up your equipment between 4:00 pm and 5:30 pm the evening before.
