Hire available daily from 10 am to 5 pm, April – October  

Canoes allow you to enjoy getting out on the water in comfort and stay completely dry whilst doing so. Our 4-man canoes are great for family groups of 4; 2 adults and 2 children,  and they are £45 per canoe for 1.5 hr hire.

They are a great way to experience the diverse ecosystems around Loch Insh. Depending on wind conditions, you have the option to head north-east of the Centre, explore the island downstream, and keep an eye out for the Osprey nest! Or seek out the canal to the South West and head upstream and explore the Insh Marshes Nature Reserve. It’s a great option for exploring the water that you won’t need a wetsuit for, but we do recommend dressing for the weather that day and bringing a change of clothes just in case.
