If you want to hire a sailboat we will ask our customers if they can “Rig it, Reef it and Right it?” If you’re not familiar with these terms you’ll have to do a few lessons first. 

Our 2-hour Group Taster Lessons are a fun and friendly way to learn to sail in a group environment. Anybody 8 and over can join a lesson and we keep our group sizes small and teach compatible ages and abilities together to ensure you get the most from your lesson.

Sailing is one of our most popular sports, from relaxed family cruisers to the challenge of mastering the dinghy and catamarans, there really is something for everyone. With dinghy sailing you’ll spend some time in the water so we recommend wearing a wetsuit, available to hire from £5, so make sure to bring along swimwear and a towel. As we have several boat options, we can choose the best sailing boat for the wind conditions on the day of your lesson, so be prepared to wear either a wetsuit for dinghy sailing or to wear your own clothes (dress for the weather/warm layers/waterproof).
