Welcome to Loch Insh, the gateway to the Cairngorms National Park.
Loch Insh is the ideal holiday destination or simply a great place for a family day out.

A range of watersports are on offer including: sail sports, paddle sports, raft building, fishing and rowing on the loch.  Off the water we have archery, play parks, and a dry ski slope, great team building apparatus. Not forgetting stunning walks and mountain biking.

The Boathouse Restaurant boasts a most spectacular view, looking south west and enjoys amazing sunsets most evenings.

  • Ski & snowboard hire will be available in the base of the building 9am - 5pm
  • Instruction on the ski slope by prior arrangement
  • The chalets and rooms at Insh Hall are available by booking at the main office by Insh Hall from 9am to 5pm or book on line from our website

Friday 26th August with musical duo Carma. Belladrum regulars specialising in folk/pop originals and covers 8pm till late.

Little Monsters Club
Team 15 Windsurf Club every Saturday 1-4pm. Paddling Posse Club every Sunday 9am to 12 noon (paddle-board, kayak or canoe) and Sea Dogs Sailing Club every Sunday 1-4pm. Please contact our Beach Department for more information.


Lunch and A la Carte at the Boathouse
Lunch from 12-4pm and A la Carte from 5-8pm daily (8.30pm on Saturday’s and Sunday’s) Over-looking stunning Loch Insh. Children’s menu available.
