Welcome to Loch Insh, the gateway to the Cairngorms National Park.
Loch Insh is the ideal holiday destination or simply a great place for a family day out.

A range of watersports are on offer including: sail sports, paddle sports, raft building, fishing, rowing and pedalo’s on the loch. Off the water we have archery, play parks, and a dry ski slope, great team building apparatus. Not forgetting stunning walks and mountain biking.

The Boathouse Restaurant boasts a most spectacular view, looking south west and enjoys amazing sunsets most evenings.

Please Note:

  • Ski & snowboard hire will be available in the base of the building 9am - 5pm
  • Instruction on the ski slope by prior arrangement
  • The chalets and bed and breakfast at Insh Hall are available by booking at the main office by Insh Hall from 9am to 5pm

Accommodation Bonus

Anyone staying two nights or more between April and October, has free use of the water sports equipment from 8.30 to 10.00 and from 4.00 to 5.30pm.
